Overview
MAIWORLD is designed as a local community marketplace. This policy explains the kinds of information the service may use while accounts, listings, location-based features, messages, safety tools and other app functions operate.
Information used by MAIWORLD
- Account information such as email and profile details.
- Location information used to help set the user's town, city or local area.
- User-created content such as listings, images, messages, ratings and reports.
- Technical information needed for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide account access, local marketplace features, communication, safety tools, moderation, ratings, fraud prevention and app reliability.
Private deals
MAIWORLD connects users but does not process the private payment or collection arrangement between buyers and sellers. Users decide what private information they share with each other.
Account deletion
Users can request account deletion from the app. MAIWORLD is also preparing an external deletion request process before the public Google Play release.
Changes
This policy may be updated as MAIWORLD development continues. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
